Coaching Kids Basketball Shooting Drill 12

Pass to Post-Cut to Baseline

P1 will begin with ball on either wing

P2 will be stationed around low-block area

P1 will make sharp pass to P2, then immediately cut straight down toward baseline

P2 will make a return pass back to P1 when he/she nears the corner area

P1 will execute pivot using goal side foot, squaring up for shot

P2 will come around and go to Line 1

P1 will follow shot, get rebound, and pass to next player in Line 1 before moving to Line 2 position.

Note: If you would like, you can also switch this up a little and have P2 turn as if boxing out after shot, finding ball, and going after rebound, before moving with ball to Line 1.In this case P1 would simply go to the back of Line 2 after shot.
