In the meantime, a few tips for the Man defense are: See ball and man. When playing straight up, see body, not ball. Stay between ball and goal, with the exception of attempting to force player dribbling the ball to their weak side. When guarding away from ball, try to remember, "see ball and man, one pass off help". And finally, do not turn back on defender no more than is absolutely necessary.
Concerning our set of Zone Defense's you will see here, it should be noted that we have only shown the movements of the defense from one side of the court. But the movements are the same if the ball is to the other side...just with the players guarding that area. And also, game situations will always dictate the exact movements of a defense. These are just a reference point to give you a head start.
